We wrestle against many evils in this world. People will lie, cheat, and steal and will try to get us to do the same things. There is much pressure to do the wrong thing instead of the right thing.

Ephesians 6:13 says, “Therefore, take up the whole armor of God that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.” This means standing firm with no wavering or falling. But how do we do this?

Verse 14 answers that you should “gird your waist with truth.” What does this mean? Look up the following verses to find out what truth is: Psalm 31:15; John 14:6, 17; 17:17.
