Deaths

Lamont, John (Jack) Barclay, age 90, Feb. 23. Jack spent his career in the grocery business in Seattle, Wash. He faithfully served the Seattle RPC as Bible school teacher, church treasurer, deacon, and elder. He was chairman of the building committee, overseeing construction of the present church building in 1971–1972. Jack is survived by his wife, Mary; sons Stephen and John; grandsons Zachariah (Kristina) and Jacob; and two great-granddaughters, Shelby and Sophia. Pastor Ryan Hemphill officiated at the memorial service Mar. 3. (Seattle, Wash. RPC)

McCracken, J. Paul, July 17, age 82. Pastors participating in service were Titus Martin, H. P. McCracken, David Reese, Bob Hemphill, and Bob McCracken. The memorial service was at College Hill [Beaver Falls, Pa.] RPC. Paul was born on Dec.27, 1929 in New Castle, Pa. to Paul Delo and Myra Edgar McCracken. He lived in Rosepoint, Pa. and Topeka, Kan. He graduated high school in 1946, Geneva College in 1951 and from the Reformed Presbyterian Theological Seminary in 1954. He pastored congregations of the RPCNA in Eastvale, Pa.; Cambridge, Mass.; Westminster, Colo.; and Colorado Springs, Colo. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Frances McCracken of Pittsburgh, Pa.; brother Robert (Mary Lynn) McCracken of Columbus, Ind.; sister-in-law Mary McCracken of Orlando, Fla.; sister Mary (Wayne) Spear of Gibsonia, Pa.; daughter Cheryl (Bob) Hemphill of Laramie, Wyo.; son Herb (Patty) McCracken of Beaver Falls, Pa. and daughter Jill (Keith) Mann of Colorado Springs, Colo.; 15 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. Miller, Albert J., June 29, age 84. Pastor Micah Ramsey officiated at the funeral service held on July 3 at the Lutton Chippewa Funeral Home. (Eastvale [Beaver Falls, Pa.] RPC)
