This year marks the 100th year of the Minneola, Kan., congregation. The church was part of the Associate Presbyterian Church until 1969, when they united with the Reformed Presbyterian Church of North America.

Commemorative activities are being planned for Sept. 2–3 at the church. All are invited for a time of reminiscing, celebrating, renewal, and praise. Those who cannot come are invited to send pictures and a letter telling about your family and some of your memories of attending or visiting the congregation. Send letters and pictures for the memory book even if you plan on attending. Instead of sending the original pictures, please send duplicates so they can be displayed. Pictures need to be sent by July 15 to: Mrs. Ruth McKissick, Box 461, Minneola, KS 67865.

The celebration will begin at 3 p.m. on Sept. 2 with visiting and reminiscing. A light supper will be served at 5:30 p.m. with a program following at 7:30 p.m. On the Lord’s Day, Sept. 3, the morning worship service will be followed by a carry-in dinner and a psalm sing in the afternoon.
