Shirley May Westmore Roby, wife of Edward L. Roby, passed away Mar. 22, 2010, at the age of 88. The funeral was officiated by Rev. Milton L. Harrington with assistance from Lic. Daniel Drost and Pastor Larry Hagadorn.

For many years Ed and Shirley owned and operated Roby’s Wood Products, which provided work for many in the Hetherton community. Shirley served there as a faithful secretary. She enjoyed the arts, and for one of her projects she painted a summer picture and a winter picture of the Hetherton (Johannesburg, Mich.) RPC.

Shirley was a longtime faithful and productive member of the Hetherton RPC and served many years as congregational secretary. Shirley is survived by her husband, Edward; son, Ron; daughter, Terry Truitt, two grandsons; and five great-grandchildren.
