One of the first students of Kobe Theological Hall (KTH) in Japan was injured during Hurricane Katrina. Mikio Matuszawa, who is studying at the Wesleyan seminary in Jackson, Miss., was struck in the head after a tree fell on his house.
According to Pastor Shigeru Takiura, chairman of the faculty at KTH, Matuszawa suffered some facial paralysis for a while, but he is recovering.
Matuszawa is not a member of the Japan RP Church, but loves Reformed theology.
