When the birds are at the feeder, or hopping on the patio and back steps looking for seeds, it reminds me of when I look into the Bible, seeking spiritual food. I don’t disappoint the birds, and God doesn’t disappoint me.

We are sure that the way of salvation is through Jesus. We are sure of the need to grow in faith and life through study of His Word, written by godly men who were guided by the Holy Spirit. His Word is full of promises to claim, sins to avoid or forsake, and commands to obey.

As you read 2 Peter 1:1-21 (NKJV), mark where each statement fits in the three categories. Then, pray to be diligent to apply this knowledge in your life.
