Deaths

Frantz, E. Rosemary, age 91, on Mar. 14. Pastor David Long officiated at the funeral service at the RPC of Lafayette on Mar. 16. Rosemary was one of the founding members of the church and was very involved in the life of the congregation until a stroke in 2008. (Lafayette, Ind., RPC)

Magri, Rachel Horlings, age 33, on Mar. 16. Pastor Andrew Schep officiated at the memorial service at Hendricks Chapel, Syracuse University. She is survived by her husband Alphonso; parents Andy and Linda Horlings; siblings Calvin (Christel) Horlings, Brian Horlings, Sara (Bryan) Korthuis and Aaron (Stacey) Horlings and four nephews. McDonald, Maurice Harold, Sept. 7, age 87. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Emma Mae Beattie McDonald; sons Richard of Champaign, Ill., Ron of Cedar Falls, Iowa and David of Highlands Ranch, Colo.; and daughter Janet Schulte of Mililani Town, Hawaii. He was preceded in death by his son Ted. Pastor Greg Stiner officiated the service on Sept. 12 at Sharon RP Church. Interment was in the Sharon RPC Cemetery, where his stone lies among those of four generations of ancestors. (Sharon [Morning Sun, Iowa] RPC)
