Deaths

Good, Pastor Ronald V., June 3. Rev. Robert McFarland officiated at the funeral service June 8. Interment was at Sharon RPC Cemetery. He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Virginia (Ginny); daughter Deborah Good of Prophetstown, Ill.; son Matthew Good and wife Leah of Wauwatosa, Wis.; grandchildren Maizy and Max Good; two brothers, Toby Good and wife Patrice of Elizabethtown, Pa., and R. Scott Good and wife Sharon of Barnegat, N.J. Reverend Good had served in RP churches in New Alexandria, Pa; Washington, Iowa; and was currently serving in Morning Sun, Iowa. The pastoral relationship between Associate Pastor Greg Cumbee and First (Durham, N.C.) RPC was dissolved on May 31 as a result of budgetary considerations. Great Lakes-Gulf Presbytery wishes it to be known throughout the church that Mr. Cumbee is a minister in good standing of the presbytery and is available for a call to the gospel ministry.
