Deaths

Alampi, Phyllis, age 87. Phyllis journeyed to her heavenly home on Oct. 26. She is survived by her three children, Christine DeJulia (Lansdale, Pa.), Mark Alampi (Luzerne, Pa.) and Kathleen Olivieri (Zion Grove, Pa.); 8 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. Phyllis was the oldest member of Hazleton RPC and a great encouragement to all in the church. (Hazleton, Pa., RPC)

Brown, Beryl, 83. Beryl passed into glory at the Jameson Care Center, Dec. 6. Beryl was born in Rose Point, Pa., on May 13, 1928, to the late Ira and Gladys Kennedy Brown. She taught elementary school in the Farrell School District and was a lifelong member of the Rose Point RPC and missionary society. Beryl is survived by two sisters, Jesse Mae McFarland (RP Home) and Mary Stoner (New Castle, Pa.); and 10 nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Russell Brown, and sister, Jean Brown. Pastor Charles Brown conducted the funeral service in the Rose Point RP Church on Dec. 9. Burial was in the Rose Point Reformed Presbyterian Cemetery. (Rose Point [New Castle, Pa.] RPC)

Rizzo, Jody Todd, 40s. Jody went home to be with the Lord on Aug. 15 after a courageous battle with cancer. She is survived by her husband, Jerry Rizzo. (Hazleton, Pa., RPC)
