Paul Finley, pastor

The congregation has enjoyed several speakers in recent months. On Sept. 14, Faith Martin spoke representing the Reformed Presbyterian Home. Some friends from Denison, Kan., RPC came for the evening. On Oct. 12, Aaron Scott spoke of his experiences in Mexico, where he spent the summer months. On Feb. 19, Jason O’Neill spoke at the evening service and showed pictures of his 7-month trip (with Titus Martin and Matt Stewart) visiting various congregations and mission posts throughout the world.

During the November family night, Heather Huizing told of the work in Sudan. On Dec. 4, Rev. Stephen Atkinson from Northern Ireland, representative of Christian Witness to Israel, talked during Sabbath school of his mission work.

Pastor Wade Mann ministered to the congregation at the Nov. 19–20 communion services. His wife and children accompanied him.

The Midwest Presbytery psalm sing was held at the church Nov. 27. A large crowd enjoyed the time of praise together, and a light supper followed. On Jan. 8, the congregation was invited to the David Hausman home in Atchison, Kan., for a psalm sing.

A special Christmas family night supper was prepared in December. Entertainment was provided by Ruth Bodenhausen and Karen and Abigail Hausman.

It has been a blessing to the congregation to have its college students home to worship as schedules permit—Kyle and Luke Finley, Kansas State University; Nathan O’Neill, Geneva College; Andrew Wallace, Sterling College. The youth continue to participate in the Midwest Presbytery Retreat, which is held every three months. A number of youth attended the presbytery skating party sponsored by the Topeka, Kan., RPC.

Pastor Finley has been preaching from the Book of Isaiah. He continues to lead studies at the Disciplinary Barracks at Fort Leavenworth and leads Bible study at the Geriatric Center in Winchester.

Several members have undergone surgery in recent months.

Charles and Edith Duguid celebrated their 60th wedding on Apr. 26. Those who wish to share their congratulations are invited to participate in a card shower. Cards can be sent to their home.

Edith Keys and Charles Duguid were married in the Winchester RP Church. They were blessed with five children: Sharon Mathews of Lawrence, Kan., Eileen Filbert of Valley Falls, Kan., Phil Duguid of Meriden, Kan., Joan Wallace of Winchester, and Brenda Kuntz of Midlothian, Tex. The couple enjoys their 15 grandchildren and 9 great-granchildren.

Fulton, N.Y., RPC

Nick Iamaio, pastor

The congregation is celebrating 11 years of service in the Fulton area.

Pastor Iamaio is teaching theology proper, which deals with the existence and attributes of God, at the newly formed Oswego County Theological Hall meeting weekly in the church. Students and the congregation have the use of a new library, containing more than 1,600 volumes, donated by Don Pastor.

The congregation enjoys a light lunch between worship and Sabbath school. Currently, they are studying the Westminster Confession of Faith in Sabbath school.

Ron Tumbry was recently ordained and installed as deacon.

Michael Murphy earned his “God and Church” merit badge and has now achieved the rank of Eagle Scout.

The congregation is thankful for the good work of its men in completing a new roof on the church building.

Special events in which the congregation has participated include picnics, a Christmas dinner with white elephant gift exchange hosted by Pastor and Kathy Iamaio, a bridal shower for Andrea Hayden, baby showers for Rachel Tumbry and Evie Hayden, and a sweetheart dinner.
