Westminster, Colo., RPC
Shane Sapp, pastor

On June 13, the Westminster women enjoyed a baby shower for Kim Fox in the home of Alison Wood.

For the fourth year, Westminster hosted the Theological Foundations Backpacking (TFB) trip June 26-July 5. Two traveled from Northern Ireland. Patrick McNeely and Shane Sapp led the group of 13 young people, with all their food and gear, to hike and camp in the rugged southern Rocky Mountains. Men from the Front Range congregations again led the classes and discussions of Reformed Presbyterian distinctives. At the closing session, the kids shared the highlights with the congregation: funny stories, beautiful views, challenging hikes, and spiritual truths that were crucial lessons learned. (See From the Mountaintop for a chaperone’s perspective.)

Guest preachers this summer have been Patrick McNeely and Joseph Friedly of Colorado Springs, Colo.

Thirteen families and individuals attended Horn Creek Family Camp in Westcliffe, Colo. The excellent speaker was Jeff Stivason, pastor of Grace (Gibsonia, Pa.) RPC, who taught lessons from the Sermon on the Mount. Total attendance was 262.
