Walton, N.Y., RPC Brad Johnston, pastor
In morning worship, Walton, RPC has been working the book of Ephesians. In the evening they did an enlightening study on heaven using Randy Alcorn’s book, Heaven. Now they are studying the Psalms and learning some of the new tunes in The Book of Psalms for Worship. The men of the congregation have led great discussions in Sunday school using the ARP quarterly materials. The Wednesday evening meetings alternate weekly among session meeting, WMF meeting and prayer meeting.
The women of the church are busy getting ready to host the Atlantic/St. Lawrence women’s retreat. They are planning meals, housing for guests and some special gifts. The program is based on A Proverbs Driven Life, by RP minister Anthony Selvaggio.
On Wednesday afternoons, released time classes are held. Church members walk 80 students about four blocks from the elementary school to the church and then back again after classes. There are classes for first through fifth grades. Though challenging, there is great joy in presenting God’s Word to these students, many of whom do not attend a church.
In March they again hosted the Life Focus team. Young adults in and beyond college come to study with Pastor Brad and to fellowship with the congregation. Families in the congregation host the main meal of the day. This year there was a talent show. The congregation looks forward to getting to know these young adults who are the future leaders of the church.

North Atlanta, Ga., RPC
The congregation has reached out to nearly 40 people in the past month with the gospel and/or church information.
As a congregation, they have started to make a concerted effort to gather for prayer. They have continued to list, on a rotational basis and in alphabetical order, a Presbytery Church-of-the-Week in the bulletin so that they can pray for that congregation during the service and throughout the week.
Enhanced audio recording equipment is now being used to tape the sermons. The messages are available via their web site, which is continually updated. Among the new features is, “From the Pastor’s Desk,” which includes articles such as, “Equal Rights for Homosexuals.”
An answer to prayer is that they have secured a better meeting location. Starting in May, they will be worshiping at the Hampton Inn and Suites in Alpharetta. This not only will give better visibility, but will help to establish their ministry in a vibrant area.
The Sunday evening Bible study in Atlanta is being conducted on the campus of Atlanta Metropolitan College. Attendance has been down this month, so please pray! The Thursday evening home Bible study is, like the downtown study, focusing on the Kingship Psalms (93-100). Attendance has been down this month for this study as well.
