The North American Presbyterian & Reformed Council (NAPARC) met Nov. 5-7 in Anaheim, Calif., hosted by the Korean Presbyterian Church of America, Kosin (KPCA). Delegates from 13 member denominations and two observer denominations reviewed reports from each of those denominations and discussed questions of mutual interest. There was also time between sessions for bilateral meetings between interchurch committees. The RPCNA is a founding member of NAPARC. The Free Reformed Churches and Heritage Reformed Churches reported progress toward unity as their Unity Committee is in its third year of work. Those two denominations held concurrent synods this year and, along with the Protestant Reformed Churches, expect to complete a new joint psalter in the next year or two. NAPARC voted to create a depository for sharing denominational position papers or links so that others might benefit from them.
