The Reformed Presbyterian Fellowship of Purcellville, Va., has moved to Harpers Ferry, W.V. The church has changed its name to Shenandoah Valley Reformed Presbyterian Church.
“With this move, we will be closer to the majority of members and also establish a presence in an area where there are no Reformed churches of any kind,” Pastor Kent Butterfield said in an email. “Please pray for our church outreach not only to Reformed families, but to the lost souls in that area.”
The church also plans to develop a new curriculum for Sunday school and its youth group along with extended youth activities.
“It is our prayer with this new effort and location [that] the Lord will establish us as a particular congregation that can be self-supporting. If not, we will labor and proclaim Christ as we have opportunity,” Pastor Butterfield said.
The church is meeting at 970 Washington St., Harpers Ferry, W.V. They have a 10:30 a.m. service followed by Sunday school.
