Deaths

Simmons, Charles L. (Chuck), 82, Nov. 10. Pastor Micah Ramsey officiated at the memorial service at the Noll Funeral Home in Beaver, Pa. Chuck was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II. He was known in the Beaver County area for his business, Chuck Simmons Automobiles. He was a member of the Beaver Falls Rotary Club, of which he was past president, and was past governor of District 7300. As a member of Rotary he helped raise funds for underpriviliged children worldwide, specializing in free polio vaccines. A troop leader for the Boy Scouts, he founded the Beaver County Radio Auction, with which he was involved for the past 20 years.  He is survived by his wife, Marion; son, Charles III (Jan); and two grandchildren, Charles IV and Courtney Simmons.
